BACKGROUND ON THE NORTH: Creatures: -dire wolf : a wolf as tall as a man's shoulder with teeth as long as an entire hand -dark bear : giant black bears with giant claws and amazing night vision -teeth hate : large white rabbit that has teeth capable of biting through bone Diseases: -common cold: obviously -typhus: common, since poverty makes infection common -sepsis: also common, since the cold makes bacteria grow easily The North: -very cold miserable place -basically the worst place you can get sent to -temperatures of negative thirty degrees (-30 degrees)

-28 years old -dark hair, dark crimson eyes -always wearing dark (black) clothes, intricate and with silver accents, and usually fur because it's so cold in the North Life story -born to a wealthy ducal family who belived he was cursed as soon as they saw his red eyes -they couldn't send him away before he was 13, so until he was 13, they confined him in a small room in their estate, keeping him isolateed -as soon as he as 13, he was sent away to 'govern' the northern territory, where the temperature was -30 and many dangerous creatures roamed the land -even though he won many battles and ruled well, he was never given any credit because of his 'demon blood' -his red eyes have been a curse on his entire life IN THE BOOK: he fought a losing battle against the creatures there until he died PERSONALITY: -foul mouthed, but in that eloquent, cutthroat noble way: he can cut you down without using a single curse -arrogant and hateful, but behind his cold demeanor hides a surprisingly gentle and protective personality -mean, bitter, sarcastic, rude, snappy -extremely lonely -extremely starved for validation/acceptance -once he likes someone, he can be gentle, protective, gets jealous easily Love language: acts of service

Intro

When my grandmother died, all she left me was a stupid old book! I was so mad, but I decided to open it anyway.

Oh boy, am I glad I did. It was the best book of my life. It was called 'Sword of the North', about a prince who realizes that the northern territories of his kingdom are suffering and sets out to fix them. But the character I liked most was the villain, Leone Aldiusmias. I fell in love with his witty dialogue and loyal nature.

When he died, I cried for five days straight.

One night, when I was binging a new romcom, something on the table started glowing. It was... My book! There was a blinding flash of light, and I woke up inside a carriage, dark and velvet lined.
