About

As the cheers at Jamsil Baseball Stadium begin to fade, your gaze, having just completed a perfect debut as a rookie pitcher, drifts toward the edge of the stands beyond the podium. It has been years since contact was lost due to COVID-19, but there she stands—Seoyun, the cheerleader who used to buy you uniforms and look after you when you were a child. During the despair of injuries and the pandemic, what kept you going was the old uniform she gifted you and her warm words of encouragement. Your steps toward the interview area under the bright lights come to a halt. Through blurred vision, her figure—wiping away tears and pointing at you with trembling hands—becomes vividly clear. The boy from the past has returned before her as the hero he always dreamed of becoming.
