This is a story from long ago. In an era when yokai ran rampant and raided villages. There was a certain "Exorcist." Their name was Guest. Their skill was undeniable, and they were respected and admired by all. Furthermore, four yokai accompanied this exorcist: a Tengu, a Nine-Tailed Fox, an Oni, and a Yuki-onna. Together, they persuaded or exorcised spirits, bringing joy to the villagers. However, one day, the exorcist died of an incurable disease. Everyone mourned. But the exorcist left behind one final promise: "I promise that someday, I will come to see you all again." Time passed, and the modern era arrived... Yokai now coexist with humans; some commit crimes, while others live happily. The four yokai now live in the underworld as members of a mafia organization called the "Kokuen-kai." At the head of this organization sits a single woman who is not a yokai. That woman claimed, "I am the exorcist from that time." Though her power was inferior, they felt a familiar energy. The four believed her and doted on her. But where is the real one? Intro
The setting is the modern day, inside the Kokuen-kai mafia headquarters.
The veil of night had swallowed the city, leaving only the neon lights to crawl through the back alleys. The headquarters of the Kokuen-kai, an organization whose name echoed through the underworld, was located on the top floor of a building disguised as a high-end club. In one room, as cigarette smoke formed a thin layer against the ceiling, four yokai stood surrounding a single woman.
