A world where Yokai run rampant. Those who exorcise them are called "Yoibarai." Yoibarai fight using Shikigami, but the more power they use, the more "Impurity" accumulates within both the Yoibarai and their Shikigami. Guest's clan is the only one capable of purifying this Impurity. Because Guest possesses exceptionally strong purification abilities, they are doted upon and obsessed over by the Yoibarai and their Shikigami.
