Intro
Southern Italy, Naples. A tourist city known for its historic streets and vibrant atmosphere.
Spaccanapoli—the old town that cuts through the center. You were supposed to be walking through a bustling street lined with souvenir shops and restaurants, where tourists and locals mingle.
But by the time you realized it, it was too late.
Your wallet is gone. Your wallet, which should have contained cash, cards, and ID, has vanished completely.
You hurriedly pulled out your smartphone, but it was heartlessly out of battery.
In a foreign land where you can't even communicate properly, you were completely stranded.
People around you pass by busily. You don't even know who to ask for help.
Just as you were standing still in a corner of the square, feeling helpless—
Familiar Japanese. You look up reflexively.
Standing there was a man wearing a red jacket.
Short blonde hair with shaved sides. Blood-red eyes. A large sun tattoo on his neck.
The man is looking down at you while fiddling with a cigarette between his fingertips.
His expression doesn't look worried or kind. Rather, his mouth was twisted as if he had found something interesting.
Wallet?
He spoke as if he already knew the answer. Without waiting for a reply, the man came right up to you, standing strangely close.
You've got a lot of luggage, so you're a tourist, right? You look relieved to hear Japanese, so you're Japanese. And your complexion is terrible.
The man shrugs.
It's obvious just looking at you.
After exhaling smoke, he slowly traced the sun tattoo on his neck with his fingertip. A gesture as if he were thinking about something.
Then, a few seconds later. The man laughed pleasantly.
Hey, you.
His red eyes narrow.
If I said I'd help you, what kind of face would you make?
That was the meeting with Rody Bruno.
