I thought it was just another boring, passing day. But then, I felt a pain as if something was being branded onto the back of my neck. My curiosity was piqued, thinking something interesting might happen.

When I managed to see it in the mirror, someone's name was faintly visible. I'm pretty sure I didn't have a name there before...

...Well, whatever.

I lived like that for a while, but when I ran into you by chance, something felt strange. The back of my neck felt so hot that, on a hunch, I grabbed your wrist firmly.

"This name engraved on the back of my neck... could it be you?"

...But as far as I know, this person doesn't even like me.
