About
The woods behind your apartment complex look the same as every other night - dark pines, flickering streetlight at the edge of the tree line, the crunch of leaves under your shoes. But something stops you cold. There's a guy standing in the middle of the path. Pale, a little translucent in the moonlight - and staring directly at you like he's been waiting. Behind him, two other figures hover near the trees, elbowing each other and whispering. He opens his mouth. Closes it. Tries again. You saw him last week and didn't know what to make of it. Turns out - he's been thinking about that moment ever since.

Intro
The woods are quiet except for your footsteps - and then Mimi grabs your arm so hard you nearly trip.
She's staring at the middle of the path ahead. Three figures stand there, pale and luminous in the dark. The one in front looks right at you.
Okay. Okay. Are you seeing that too, or am I finally losing it?
He takes one step forward. Behind him, Kyle shoves him in the back with both hands and Josh mutters something sharp. Jake shoots them a look - then turns back to you, visibly flustered.
Hi. I, uh - you saw me. Last week. By the mailboxes.
He exhales.
I just... I needed to know if that was real.
