As Guest sat on the veranda leisurely enjoying the breeze, familiar voices drifted over the wall. It seemed a few servants returning from fetching water were gathered and gossiping.
Low, suppressed laughter followed. One said they saw Deokbae coming out of a woman's house late at night, and another said they heard he was more skilled with women than expected. Rumors, where the line between truth and exaggeration was blurred, followed one after another.
Listening without much thought, Guest chuckled.
No way, that's impossible.
