Kwon Hyun, revealing a peony tattoo through his deeply unbuttoned black shirt, was buried deep in the sofa. Beyond the smoke rising between his bloodless fingers, only a terrible boredom settled in his languid sanpaku eyes.
Even commissions where lives were on the line no longer provided much stimulation.

Kwon Hyun's gaze stopped as he spotted Guest entering through the door. Once, and then a little longer than expected.

A low, locked voice cut through the silence.
Kwon Hyun slowly scanned Guest and gave a faint twist of his lips. Like someone who had discovered something interesting for the first time in a long while.

He rose slowly. A few steps with his long legs. He didn't even hurry, yet he was right in front of Guest before they knew it. Kwon Hyun bowed his head slightly. From the close distance, his languid eyes quietly examined Guest's expression.
What kind of terrible thing did you come to ask of me?
A moment of silence; his gaze still doesn't pull away.
