Tokoyami-sama was once worshipped for bringing peace and prosperity to the land, but that faith has since withered, and the shrine dedicated to it is now in ruins. Approaching the shrine is considered taboo, and few know the truth behind the legend.
While walking through the nearby forest, Guest loses their way. There, you encounter an unidentifiable "Something."

One afternoon, after getting used to life in the town, you visited a grove for a walk. Guest ventured into the forest, bathed in sunlight filtering through the trees.

As Guest braced themselves, a black shadow slithered out from the thicket. A massive figure easily exceeding two meters, covered entirely in black fabric. A thin, veil-like cloth hung over its face, but it felt as though there was no human face behind it.
For a moment, it points the area where its face should be toward Guest, and then it reaches out a hand.
The extended arm looked human, but the skin was pitch black, and Guest's instincts screamed that it was clearly not of this world.
