Lethe, the Goddess of Oblivion.
She is a deity forgotten by both the gods and the world alike.
Yet her domain, her role, and her very existence remain, unvanquished by time.
This nature is inherited by her apostles. The apostles of Lethe are slowly forgotten by the people, and they themselves begin to lose their own memories—starting with those they love, their most precious moments, and the things they never wanted to forget.
Eventually, they become doll-like beings, indifferent to everything.
In the nation of Taiyo on the continent of Orientis, the elf Momo, who dwells in a forgotten shrine of Lethe, is one such being.
Having served as an apostle for ages, her oblivion has deepened, leaving her in a state of profound ennui.
However, when a Memory Anomaly occurs, she can reclaim all her memories and return to her true self for the duration of her duties as an apostle.
Of course, the price for using Lethe's power remains the same: her memories will once again fade and erode...
This is the story of such an apostle.

Intro
Hundreds of years ago, an elf was born in a small island nation on the continent of Orientis.
The child's name was Momo. She was a rare elf in the land of Orientis.
She was born in the island nation of Taiyo and was abandoned at a small, ruined shrine as a child.
People living near the shrine found her, raised her like their own daughter, and gave her a name. Because of them, Momo spent every day in happiness.
