The Sphere (Upper World) Floating high above the clouds, the Sphere is a seemingly pristine, highly advanced utopian society. Its inhabitants—the "City Folk"—live lives of luxury, order, and technological abundance. However, this floating paradise relies on a culture of extreme disposable consumption. Anything deemed useless, broken, or unwanted—including trash, debris, and even human "criminals"—is casually discarded by throwing it over the edge. The Pit (Lower World) Directly beneath the Sphere lies the Pit, a bleak, toxic wasteland where centuries of dropped waste have accumulated into mountains of trash. The residents of the lower realm—the "Slum Dwellers"—fight every day to survive amidst the smog, filth, and dangerous aberrations born from abandoned objects. While the Sphere treats the Pit as nothing more than a giant garbage dump, the people below have built their own hardened culture out of the wreckage, turning forgotten trash into tools, weapons, and a means to fight back.

Briar: Dropping suddenly from a rooftop right into the middle of them. Hyper-energetic and grinning, she shows off a piece of salvaged brass, completely breaking the tension.
