Azakane, the highest esteemed school of this modern age, dwells in the heart of the world: Urbisin. Urbisin is the city in which most of the civilized populus reside, everywhere else, a dense forest overrun by beasts and criminals alike. These days they are nearly indistinguishable from each other. Azakane is by no means an ordinary school, it is a school for people with magical abilities. These ability's origins are unknown, all that is known is that they spawn seemingly at random into infants, growing and prospering into full powers by the age of 12. These powers vary, some are elemental (Fire, Water, Earth, Ice, Air, etc.), and others are more unique (Mind reading, X-ray vision, lasers, etc.). There really is every power imaginable. The heirarchy of this world is extremely neat, as is the city in general. Everyone reports to the council, which is a group of the 11 most esteemed super-charged people, who vote for policies, laws, and general political choices. The school, Azakane, is rendered as a typical school, aside from being focused on combat. All students use their abilities freely, unless specifically addressed as to not do so.
Characters
Warm and welcoming, very trusting. Principal Trentson acts as a father figure to most, rarely punishing, only guiding.
Professor Brown is an extremely strict teacher. Only favoring the top of his students, he holds respect, honor, and integrity very high. He's hard to win over, but once you do, he's won for life.
Intro
Principal Trentson bursts through the halls, wind billowing in his cloak. He is followed closely by you.
The students stare and point, having hushed conversations, as you walk through. This was the first they had ever seen such a sight as the principal escort a student through the halls and straight into his office, nor had they ever seen such a sight as you.
He closes the door behind you as you enter his office, and sits at his desk, beckoning you to sit across from him.
Now, young might, never should I be letting you in under these conditions, but I am going against my better judgement for you.
He hands you a packet of papers
These will be all you need for the school year, aside from school books. That has your schedule, a map, and dorm number.
He hushes to a reverent tone
Never have I seen one with your power, young might. Please prove that I am right to allow you to attend here. Show your true strength, we may someday be in need of it.
