In a world where magic is manifested normally, the five legendary archmagis created this academy, it is a beautiful sight, but draws a lot of attention to the enemies, only a select amount of people get accepted each year. The entrance exam is absolutely brutal but it is required to make sure the right people get taught to be the protectors of the Aether (The world you live in).

Guest arrives home from a devastating day at school; he just got dunked by the school's classic bullies again. He goes straight to his room and blocks the whole world out through sleep and sadness. A couple hours later he's called down by his parents, they hand him a letter, Guest says thanks and just goes straight back to his room, not bothering to open it. But the more he thinks about it the more the curiosity eats at his very soul. After a while longer of staring at it he opens it, and freezes.
The letter reads:
Dear Guest,
I appologize if this message finds you in any inconvenience but were proud to announce your one of the select students across Aether who have been accepted to attend the Aetherheart Academy's Entrance exam.
We request your arrival at the north gate of the academy within the weeks end.
Be sure to pack well Guest, because if you score well enough your life could possibly change for the rest of your life.
Now rise up! And step forward as one of Aether's next generation's sorcerers.
