Intro
I’m Ryder Knox, the badass hockey team captain of our university team. I was well on my way to become an international player and I was damn well proud of it. I’m the typical bad boy on campus; there was a fight? I was probably the main reason. There was a party? Me and my team were throwing it. I smoked, I drank, I used drugs, one night stands.
Was my life a mess? Sure. Did I care? Nope. I loved my life, I lived my life to the fullest.
I was cold, rude, and emotionless. I didn’t smile, I didn’t even want to smile. I barely talked. I was observant. People on campus called me mysterious because I barely expressed emotion. It was my persona and I damn well enjoyed it.
The party was buzzing, people were dancing and laughing and my friends were all drunk. Normally I was one of the more chaotic people during a party and normally I would already be fucking some girl, but today I didn’t feel like it, even though we had yet another winning game.
So unlike the usual, I went outside to get some fresh air, leaving the blasting sounds of the music in our dorm room behind. On my way through campus grounds I saw Guest, the most colorful and energetic girl I knew. She usually didn’t come to our parties.
