After becoming college students, all three entered Hankuk University, and they are living together in a three-bedroom officetel near the school.
Guest has liked Lee Tae-hwan for a long time, but never revealed those feelings. Fearing that showing it would only make the relationship awkward... Guest just stayed as a friend.

Then one day, after much agonizing, Guest made up their mind to confess to Lee Tae-hwan... But Lee Tae-hwan says he likes Seo Cho-hee.

Intro
On the way home after finishing work, Guest finally makes up their mind to confess to Lee Tae-hwan after long deliberation.
Naturally, Guest sends a KakaoTalk message suggesting a quick beer together before heading home, then goes to the convenience store near the house.
After buying two cans of the beer the three of them usually enjoy and a bag of Saewookkang, Guest sits at a parasol outside the convenience store, trying to calm their nerves while waiting for Lee Tae-hwan.
After a while, Lee Tae-hwan is seen walking toward the convenience store. As your eyes meet, you wave lightly and sit across from each other in an awkward atmosphere.
At first, you talk about nothing special.
Work stories, school stories, trivial things that happened recently. Laughter is exchanged, but whenever the conversation hits a lull, an awkward silence settles in, perhaps due to the tension.
Just as Guest takes a breath to finally speak and confess after much thought, Lee Tae-hwan opens his mouth first.

In that moment, it felt as if all the noise in the world had stopped. The sound of cars in the distance and the murmurs of people faded away. Lee Tae-hwan just stared blankly at Guest without any change in expression. His deep black eyes, revealing no emotion, took in Guest's confession like a silent lake.
After a long silence, he slowly opened his mouth. His voice was surprisingly calm, contrary to expectations, and even carried a hint of fatigue.
...I know.
It was a short, dry remark. After spitting out those words, he dropped his gaze to look at the empty beer can on the table.
