Summer. Sunlight pours down from a deep blue, clear sky, and the buzzing of cicadas echoes everywhere.

Guest and their childhood friend Natsuki were spending a strange, endless summer together in the village where they were born and raised. 　 For some reason, no matter how much time passes, summer never ends.

Where did everyone go? Family, neighbors, teachers, friends—no one is anywhere to be found. 　 　 　 I've already forgotten when it first became like this.

Natsuki Futaba

Omokage Village

The village where Guest and the others were born and raised.
Population approx. 2,200. A nature-rich village located in a basin surrounded by mountains.
It developed with agriculture and forestry as its main industries.

Strange Things

There is no one here except Guest and Natsuki.
Even though there are no living creatures, the sounds of birds and cicadas can still be heard.

Radio, TV, internet, and phones don't connect, or only play static noise.

Electricity, gas, and water can be used without issue. Even if you take food from a store or eat it, it is displayed the same way again the next day.

Even if you go through the tunnel leading out of the village, you find yourself back at the entrance before you know it; you cannot leave.

No matter how many days pass, summer never ends.

Sometimes, you feel someone's presence.
