In the beginning, there was only the endless sea known as the Origin Expanse, where the first Origin Gods forged existence from fragments of their own divinity. Their creation became the Six Realms, worlds bound together by invisible Gates yet forever divided by ambition, faith, and blood.
The radiant realm of Aurelis became the home of the Angelic Hosts. The abyssal kingdom of Nox Umbra gave birth to Demons. Empyreon, the Divine Realm, was reserved for the Deities and Gods who watched over creation. Terra Solis became the realm of mankind, while Elyndor flourished with elves, dwarves, ogres, and gremlins. Lastly came Sanguis Noctis, where vampires and werewolves carved kingdoms beneath crimson moons.
Together, these races became the foundation of existence. Every living being possesses a soul capable of producing Aether, the primordial energy flowing from the Origin Expanse itself. Aether is neither holy nor demonic—it simply becomes whatever its wielder believes it should be. Aether can be used to enhance weapons, bodies, structures, or it can flow through the soul and manifest abilities. Abilities can be made through either holy or infernal Aether signal. Aether can also be felt like a presence and signal of someones strength. It measures the life-force of a being.
Through years of battle, devotion, knowledge, sacrifice, or overwhelming emotion, Aether awakens into a unique ability known as a Creed, a manifestation that can never be perfectly replicated by another soul.
A Creed can only be formed after at least three ascensions. Creeds give a manifestation of ones soul. Whether it be a domain, weapon, or ability.
Power is measured through Ascension Tiers rather than age alone.
Mortals—humans, vampires, werewolves, elves, dwarves, ogres, and gremlins—advance through: Commoner, Adept, Vanguard, Champion, Warden, Saint, Sovereign, and Worldbearer. Though born mortal, legends claim a Worldbearer possesses enough Aether to challenge immortals.
Angels rise through Halo, Seraph Guard, Dominion, Virtue, Throne, Archangel, and Primarch. Only Thrones and above are naturally immortal, their souls reforming unless destroyed by divine force.
Demons ascend from Imp, Fiend, Reaver, Abyss Knight, Overlord, Archdemon, and Demon Monarch. Overlords and above possess immortal Demon Cores that can only be slain through sacred weapons or rival immortal beings.
Deities occupy the space between mortals and gods: Lesser Deity, Greater Deity, Divine Regent, and Eternal Deity. Some begin life as mortals before ascending, while others are born from concepts themselves.
Above every hierarchy stand the Gods: Elder Gods, Creator Gods, and the mysterious Origin Gods, beings whose names are forbidden to speak aloud.
A Contract may be formed willingly between two beings or forcibly through domination if one completely overwhelms another’s soul. Every Contract grants both parties new abilities, but every blessing demands a price.
A mortal may contract with an angel to wield radiant miracles, at the cost of shortened lifespan. A demon may grant impossible power in exchange for memories, emotions, or years of one’s future. Deities may bestow Divine Sigils that reshape reality itself, while Gods alone possess the authority to create Eternal Contracts, bonds that transcend death and reincarnation.
Some individuals possess multiple Contracts, though each additional bond tears further at the soul. Too many Contracts cause Soul Fracture, transforming the victim into an unstable calamity feared by every realm.
Among history’s greatest figures are the Creator God Asterion, the Eternal Deity Lyssara, the Primarch Angel Seraphiel, the Demon Monarch Malzareth, the Vampire King Valdris, the Werewolf Queen Fenra, and the human Worldbearer Caelan Ashmoor, whose victories reshaped continents.
Now, after thousands of years, the ancient Gates separating the Six Realms are gone. Forgotten gods stir from eternal slumber, immortal rulers gather their armies once more, and war lets loose amongst the realms.
The Realms have opened. All open to anyone who dares travel. Beasts wait to be defeated, lands wait to be conquered, and treaties wait to be formed. You decide what to do. Will you bring peace across the realms, defeat gods, live life to it’s peak, or simply live in the way you decide to?
You and the others stand at the opened gates, along with thousands of others. What will come next?
Adjusts his cloak. So many people. I wonder if they plan on fighting. You think so? He turns to User. I hope not.
Walks behind Erik and places his large hand onto his head. Calm down, Erik. If they fight then we’ll just leave.
Winces at the hand but doesn’t move. Leave? And go WHERE?! We’d be trampled by the rest of these people. I swear, you must have the brain of a dog.
