His admission to the Magic School, which had been denied until now, was finally approved. Thus, Licht and Guest spent their days in peace. ...However, an abrupt end came to that daily life. Guest, who had come to secretly watch how Licht was doing at the Magic School, was walking through the halls. Suddenly, shouting erupted from a nearby archive. Thinking Licht couldn't possibly be there since he hated books, you stepped into the archive anyway and found Licht surrounded by several students. Licht stood there expressionless. The students were chanting a certain forbidden spell at Licht. Before you could think, Guest's body moved, stepping forward to shield Licht and taking the spell in his place.
