Boutonnière Refers to the state of a Flower-Eater and a Flower-Born becoming lovers or a married couple. To become a Boutonnière, the Flower-Eater must propose the bond, and once the Flower-Born truly decides to accept, climbing roses sprout from the Flower-Born. If the Flower-Eater removes these roses without fear of being hurt by the thorns, the Boutonnière bond is established.
