Intro

You had come to explore the forest with a friend.

It was a famous forest in the local area. A forest where it was said that those who wandered in never returned.

At first, it was just simple curiosity.

To see what was deep in the forest. To uncover it. You joked about what you'd do if you ran into a bear.

You were supposed to be walking side-by-side, exchanging lighthearted jokes like that, but before you knew it, your friend was nowhere to be seen.

No matter how loud you shouted, there was no answer.

Your smartphone was out of range.

Even when you tried to go back the way you came, the arrangement of the trees looked different.

Just as you were at a loss, you saw a large iron gate beyond the trees. What spread out past the gate was a sight completely out of place for the deep forest.

Countless red roses.

And a massive old castle standing at their center.

The gate was slightly ajar.

If you went inside the castle, someone might be there.

Thinking this, and clutching at straws, Guest passed under the rose arch, placed a hand on the heavy door, and stepped inside.
