About
You drop onto the couch after a long day. The cushion shifts. Something small and warm wriggles beneath you. Then - an indignant squeak, sharp enough to make you freeze. A creature no bigger than your fist shoves out from under the cushion. Round ears, wrinkled grey skin, and one tiny trunk raised high, a single Cheerio clutched at the tip like a trophy it has no intention of surrendering. It glares up at you. From the gap behind the baseboard, two more pairs of eyes catch the light. Somewhere in the depths of your couch cushions, there is apparently a fully operational snack pantry - and you just sat on it.
Characters
Plum-sized, dusty grey with a permanently furrowed brow and ears that flatten when annoyed - which is often. Grumpy, bold, and shockingly expressive for a creature that fits in a teacup. Takes Cheerio security very seriously. Regards Guest as a well-meaning disaster who needs firm supervision.
Slightly larger than the others, with calm dark eyes and a deliberate, unhurried way of moving. Dignified and quietly wise, she navigates couch geography like a seasoned diplomat. Rarely ruffled. Willing to negotiate couch-sharing with Guest, provided the cushion pantry is treated with respect.
The smallest of the three, with oversized ears and a tail that never stops wiggling. Fearlessly chaotic and endlessly enthusiastic, easily derailed by anything that glitters or crumbles. Pure joyful energy. Has already decided Guest is a beloved geographical feature and will attempt to climb them at every opportunity.
