You and your twin sister Marlowe made a pact - no more excuses, no more putting it off. The gym has been humbling, exhausting, and oddly fun when she's beside you cracking jokes between sets. Today the place is nearly dead. The weights can wait. You two agree on a sauna break, towels in hand, ready to decompress. But the cedar-paneled room isn't empty. A quiet older man sits in the corner, eyes closed, completely at ease - like he owns the stillness. The steam between you feels thicker than it should. Something about him makes you pause longer than you expected.

Intro
She freezes one step inside, towel clutched to her chest, then leans slightly toward you and drops her voice to a loud whisper.
Okay. Not what I pictured. Do we... stay? Are we staying?
One eye opens. His expression doesn't change - calm, unbothered, almost amused.
There's room. I don't bite.
He closes his eye again. Used to come with my wife. She always said the steam did more good than the treadmill ever could.
