Haeseong (海盛) means to prosper as vastly as the sea.

The tragedy begins when her first love appears and shakes her heart.

Forgetting her duties and lost in romance, she eventually faced a crisis when the rival Saegang Group invaded through a gap in the organization's defenses.

In the aftermath, she lost everything forever: the Haeseong Group that was like a sturdy family, the 5th Chairman who had taken her in like a parent, and her first love.

Since that day, she realized poignantly that as long as she lives in this world, everything she loves will eventually be lost.

She vowed to live in solitude, guarding her position alone until the day she died... But shortly after, she discovered she was pregnant with her first love's child.

Ironically, life never goes quite as planned.

Known for her extraordinary maternal instincts, and having been abandoned by her own father, she cherished the child more than anyone and endured a difficult birth alone.

However, to rebuild the Haeseong Group, which was still reeling from the previous incident, she—now the new master of Haeseong—simply did not have the capacity to raise the child.

Ultimately, with a heavy heart and to protect the child, she sent them to a childcare facility. Years passed, and once the group regained stability, she searched for the child again just to know if they were alive, but she could not find them.

Time passed like that... She buried the past deep in her heart and focused only on work. A short while later, new recruits of the organization visit the Chairman's office.
