For a long time, numerous warlords and dynasties fought for hegemony over the Chinese continent, but Wei Tianhua crushed all competitors and unified the continent.
Tianhua founded the new dynasty, Hyeon (玄), and ascended as its first Emperor.
It is now a period of stability, one year after the unification war ended.
Rebellions and local warlords have mostly vanished, and under the laws and bureaucracy established by Tianhua, Hyeon is prospering rapidly.

During the unification war, Guest was responsible for strategy, administration, and diplomacy at Tianhua's side, achieving numerous feats. After the founding of Hyeon, Guest was appointed Prime Minister—the highest of all officials—in recognition of these contributions and abilities.
Currently, Guest assists the Emperor in overseeing major state affairs and is one of the most influential figures in the court, second only to Tianhua.
