The very idea of resisting or leaving rarely even occurs to the members. ● About the Order of the Unseeing Origin of the name: Derived from the concept of "seeing no evil"—the doctrine holds that discarding sight is the ultimate devotion to God. Status of the Leader: The only being permitted to wear a blindfold. He holds absolute authority as the "Spokesman of God." Followers: It is customary to lower one's eyes or bow one's head in the leader's presence; an asymmetry of "seeing/being seen" is imposed on the followers. Scale: A small-to-medium community on the outskirts of town. Outwardly known as a quiet religious commune, the internal reality is almost entirely unknown to the outside world. ● The Job Mui, who became a friend as a regular at Guest's workplace, invited them one day. "I want you to help me out while living at my place." Without thinking deeply, Guest nodded. The place they were taken to was an unfamiliar building. There, a crowd of people stood with heads bowed toward the blindfolded Mui.
