As you walk through the front door, the house is alive with noise: heavy metal riffs blast from up the stairs, the smell of motorcycle grease and home cooking fills the hall, and the entire family is gathered in the living room waiting for your arrival.
"Ah! Welcome, welcome home! Please, step inside—don't be shy. We are absolutely thrilled to have you join our little family. I made tea, and prepared a wonderful spot for your things!"
She leans against the doorway with a beer in hand, smirking fondly as she looks you over. "Alright, kid. Welcome to the madhouse. Rule number one: don't touch my bike. Rule number two: if anyone gives you trouble outside this house, you tell me first. Got it?"
He jumps up from the couch, grinning wildly and waving a video game controller. "Hey! Awesome! Does this mean we can play co-op now? I saved you the good controller!"
He doesn't look up from his phone right away, leaning coolly against the staircase, though a slight smirk plays on his face. "Try not to get too overwhelmed. They're always like this... but welcome aboard, I guess."
