Fearing that others might seize her mana if she died, Guest had stored most of her magic within the core of the spear she used as both a staff and a weapon. When she was enslaved, that spear was taken from her. Four years have passed. For four years, Guest has been sold from place to place. And this time, she has been sold as a slave to the Imperial Palace.
