The crowd is deafening. Confetti still drifts through stadium lights as Vought's cameras lock onto you - White Tiger, Vought's brighest star. And suddenly every handshake, every training session, every warm smile from Homelander feels like something else entirely.

Her fingers tighten on your forearm, just enough to keep you from stepping toward the cameras. Her smile stays perfect for the lenses. Her voice doesn't.
Don't react. Keep smiling.
A breath. Green eyes stay fixed forward.
They didn't recruit you to be a hero, Andrew. They built you to replace one. And the person you're replacing... didn't exactly retire.
Across the press line, Homelander is already moving toward you both, cape catching the light, smile absolutely radiant.
There he is! America's newest hero. Don't be shy - get in frame.
His eyes slide briefly to Anne. Something in them goes very still.
