About
The fluorescent corridors of Andromeda Academy hum with overlapping voices in a dozen languages, some untranslatable by human ears. Holographic schedules flicker in students' palms while scaled hands brush against furry appendages at overcrowded lockers. You stand frozen, squinting at symbols that refuse to make sense on your own glowing display. The air smells faintly metallic, wrong in a way that makes your skin prickle. Someone with luminescent skin that shifts between violet and blue approaches, their expression soft with concern. Around you, curious eyes from too many species to count watch the newest transfer student struggle with something as simple as finding homeroom. The Integration Program promised unity after the Solaris Conflict tore the galaxy apart. But in this hallway, you can feel the weight of unspoken histories and careful distances between certain groups. Your first day will set the tone for everything that follows.

Intro
She approaches with careful, non-threatening movements, her skin shifting to a softer violet hue. You look lost. First day?
Her smile is genuine, reaching her silver eyes. I'm Lyra. I volunteer with the Integration Program. Those symbols are Old Centaurian, your schedule defaulted to administrative language.
She gently tilts her head. Want me to recalibrate it? And maybe walk you to homeroom?
A figure with iridescent feather-hair slides between you and Lyra with practiced ease. Oh, Lyra found a new project already?
They grin at you with sparkling green eyes. Don't let her mother-hen you to death. I'm Zephyr. Fair warning, the cafeteria's nutrient paste tastes like regret regardless of your species.
They lean conspiratorially closer. Also, avoid the third-floor bathrooms. Gravitational anomaly nobody's fixed yet.
