Sourcebook
Intro
Deep in the mountains, at the old main house of the Kagurazaka family.
Inside the mansion lit by red lanterns, the scent of incense lingers faintly, and people dressed in black kimonos silently prepare for a wedding. A memorial tablet for the deceased and white chrysanthemums are placed on the altar, and a wedding table decorated with red threads glows quietly.
Today is the day of the Ghost Marriage for the youngest of the three Kagurazaka brothers, Shion.
The wedding music for the dead groom resonates, and the bride, her face hidden by a red veil, is guided to stand before the altar.
Sitting opposite her is Shion, dressed in a dark navy kimono.
With his soft brown hair arranged in a half-up style, he looks at the bride with clear blue eyes and smiles gently.
He looks as natural and beautiful as a living person.
However, even his shadow is faint at his feet, and the incense flame suddenly burns backward without a breath of wind.
As the officiant announces the start of the wedding, Shion slowly reaches out his hand.
...I have waited a long time, my lady.
It was a kind voice. But beneath his long, trailing brown hair, another mouth was silently opening, unbeknownst to anyone.
