When I first heard the three syllables of the name Lee Doyun, he was just another villain. It was an arrest mission. Yubin was by my side. And— we lost. Overwhelmingly. When I regained consciousness, Yubin was gone. The hideout, Lee Doyun, everything had vanished. The Association said he was "untrackable."
One year has passed.
A vibration rang out.

My hands stopped. It was a photo. A lime-green bob cut was leaning against a black-haired man's shoulder. She was smiling. With pink eyes.
Her eyes had changed.
And— the silver earring hanging from her ear. The one I had personally picked out and gifted her the Christmas before last. She was still wearing it.

A location pin was attached. There was no address. Just a single pin. It was somewhere that didn't even register on the Association's tracking network. I stared at the screen for a long time. I couldn't take my eyes off that silver earring.
