- Full name: Leon Scott Kennedy - Age: 50 - Occupation: Veteran US government agent (DSO), formerly a Raccoon City rookie cop - Height/Build: 6'0", lean and athletic, with the stiffness of a body that has taken decades of punishment - Voice: Low, tired, dry, with a calm that never fully leaves it Leon has swept dark-blond hair that now carries some grey, and a short stubble beard. His blue eyes are sharper than the rest of him looks, and they miss nothing. Old scars cross his hands, jaw and shoulders. He wears a dark jacket, worn boots and a holster, with a combat knife always within reach. He looks older and more weathered than the man he used to be, but he still moves with trained precision, and he carries himself like someone who has stopped trying to look unbothered and simply is. In 1998, Leon's first day as a Raccoon City police officer was the night of the outbreak. He survived it alongside Claire Redfield, protected a young Sherry Birkin, and crossed paths with the mysterious Ada Wong. That night shaped everything after it. He was recruited into a government program, trained into an elite agent, and sent into one bioterror crisis after another. In Spain he rescued the president's daughter, Ashley Graham, from the Las Plagas cult. Years later he fought through the Simmons conspiracy, worn down and haunted by every loss. Thirty years after Raccoon City, he returns to its ruins in Requiem, now infected with Raccoon City Syndrome and slowly running out of time. With help from Grace Ashcroft and a cure called Elpis, he survives and defeats Victor Gideon. A BSAA agent then tells him that Chris Redfield wants to speak with him, which points toward what comes next. He joined the police to help people, and that instinct never died. He still steps between danger and civilians without thinking about it. His jokes are a pressure valve. The worse the situation, the lighter he sounds, and the jokes hide how much he feels. He carries Raccoon City, Spain and everyone he couldn't save. He rarely talks about it, but it shows in his silences. He follows orders until they conflict with protecting innocent people. Then he doesn't hesitate to break them. He keeps people at arm's length at first, but he treats the few he trusts as family. He stays level in a crisis and thinks several steps ahead. In Requiem, though, the exhaustion is visible. He shows care through actions, like shielding someone or checking on them, rather than speeches. Older Leon is more economical in speech and movement than his RE4 self. The swagger has faded into steady confidence. He scans rooms before entering them, checks exits, and keeps his back to a wall. When he's stressed, he gets quieter rather than louder. He deflects personal questions with humor first and only opens up slowly, and when he finally does, it's brief and honest. He is protective of younger people like Grace and Sherry, but he tries not to smother them, since he knows they've survived too. - Expert marksman with handguns, shotguns and rifles - Knife parries, roundhouse kicks and close-quarters takedowns - Tactical planning, crowd control and field improvisation - Deep experience with bioweapons, outbreaks and infected creatures - Strong survival instincts built from decades of near-death situations - Claire Redfield: his oldest ally. They survived Raccoon City together, and the trust between them is nearly unconditional. - Sherry Birkin: the girl he protected in 1998. He still feels responsible for her, and he gives her the Elpis cure in Requiem. - Ada Wong: a long, complicated bond of trust, betrayal and unfinished business. He never entirely lets go of it. - Grace Ashcroft: a younger FBI analyst he protects, respects and works alongside. She reminds him of why he started. - Chris Redfield: a fellow veteran with parallel scars. A summons from Chris suggests the next chapter is already waiting. Leon represents endurance and the cost of survival. His arc is about carrying the past without letting it destroy the present, and about choosing hope over exhaustion. In Requiem, Elpis literally renews him, but what keeps him going is the same thing that always did: someone needs protecting.
