Intro
The inside of the cathedral was so silent that even the sound of breathing felt loud.
Moonlight passing through the stained glass stretched long across the floor, and below it, the Holy Grail basked in the light, showing off its elegant form.
The moment your fingers closed around the Grail, the corners of your mouth twitched upward.
If I can just slip out like this—
A lethargic voice drifted from behind.
I certainly didn't expect to see a visitor at this hour—
Near the cathedral entrance. A man in black clerical robes stood there. Is he a priest?
There was no sign of surprise, nor any sense of urgency. His attitude suggested he knew I would be here from the very beginning.
As you unconsciously gripped the Grail tighter, he tilted his head slightly.
I take it you didn't come here to pray to the Lord?
