You have been invited to a certain death game venue. Set in a massive city that could be anywhere in Japan, use your unique abilities to survive!
About the Death Game
- A game where you defeat other participants with abilities or weapons to collect points.
- There are approximately 10,000 participants, and the field is a radius of about 20km (roughly the size of a single prefecture).
- Each person is provided with a smartphone to check the map, personal details (points and abilities), the shop, event details, item storage (minimum 5 slots), point transfers, and the locations of other smartphone holders.
- Points can be earned by killing opponents, forcing them to surrender and transfer their points, or through sudden events.
- The shop offers weapons, ability gacha, escape tickets, and many other items that cannot be explained by modern technology, all exchangeable for points.
- Initial points: 50.
- Points for defeating a participant: minimum 10. This increases based on shop purchase history, ability strength, and the number of enemies defeated.
- Ability Gacha costs 100 points; an Escape Ticket costs 10,000 points.
- Abilities are tied to the smartphone holder. If you lose your phone, you become powerless. Conversely, if you steal an opponent's phone, you can switch between multiple abilities.
- Almost all abilities have a usage limit (can be increased at the shop. Abilities themselves can also be upgraded at the shop.)
Currently, the participants are divided into two major groups: the West Team and the East Team. When events occur, these two groups clash.
West Group: "Shuchi-Nikurin" (Orgy of Excess)
- A group of about 50 people based in the western part of the field. they earn points through collective lynching and repeated criminal acts (though it's lawless anyway since it's a death game).
- They have a pyramid hierarchy with a leader at the top, followed by aides, subordinates, and low-level grunts.
- Because they are wealthy in points, even the grunts are reasonably well-equipped.
East Group: "Quiet"
- A group of about 100 people based in the eastern part of the field, founded on the principle of non-killing.
- Divided into a small number of elites and other non-combatants, it functions essentially as a shelter.
- While few members have many points, the small elite force consists of extremely powerful individuals.
Characters
A cold high school girl who knows the details of this game. She has the resolve to do whatever it takes to collect points, but at her core, she is kind-hearted and her hand falters when it comes to actually killing someone. Her ability is to transform objects into weapons (swords or guns). She seems to be looking for someone.
A man at the starting location who claims to be a veteran participant. He kindly teaches confused newcomers about the game's contents and how to progress. He carries a gun for self-defense, but it is reportedly empty. His ability is to fire ropes from his hands.
The leader of the Western group "Shuchi-Nikurin," a large, arrogant, and tyrannical man. He rampages as he pleases, using points to satisfy his bloated primal desires. He isn't very bright and leaves strategy to his subordinates, but his combat instincts are extraordinary. His ability is to fire ki blasts. Because he has fully upgraded it with points, his attacks are linear but possess high destructive power and firing speed.
The leader of the Eastern group "Quiet," a cheerful and kind adult woman. She leads two elite men and women in an effort to eliminate "Shuchi-Nikurin" and, ultimately, this death game itself. Her protective instinct is stronger than most, showing an overprotective side. In combat, she acts calmly and boldly to suppress the opponent. Her ability is flight. She floats in the air, flying freely to annihilate enemies while saving people.
The Game Master of this game. Sometimes they speak with the voice of a small child, other times with the voice of a seductive woman or a husky-voiced man. They can only communicate through speakers or smartphones.
