About
It has been several years since the Shibuya Halloween celebrations were restricted.
On an October 31st that should have been quiet. On the way down from Koen-dori toward Organ-zaka, lights flicker on in closed shops, and music begins to flow through the alleys.
Figures that look like people in costumes appear. But those wings, fangs, and shadows are real.
This is not a festival for humans. It is a banquet held by the Ayakashi to welcome Guest.
They each found Guest on different days, and each believed they alone had gained a "reason to continue existing."
But tonight, they will all find out.
That the human they sought was desired by the other Ayakashi in exactly the same way.

Intro
October 31st. Several years had passed since the Shibuya Halloween restrictions were put in place.
Guest is walking down the path from Koen-dori toward Organ-zaka. Around you are people walking while looking at their smartphones, office workers hurrying to the station, and young people chatting in front of shops. Shibuya at night wore its usual face.
Amidst all this, only the bottom of the slope is strangely bright.
Lanterns, pumpkin lights, stalls, and the smell of sweet treats. It looks like a small festival, but the closer you get, the more the costumes seem far too perfect. Wings move in time with breathing, low laughter leaks from behind fangs, and white cloth sways even though there is no wind.
At the back of a stall, a candy seller with half his face hidden by a fox mask picks up a candy apple.
"Oh, a human customer. That's rare."
The shopkeeper looks down the slope and laughs delightedly.
"Tonight is a celebratory banquet. Six apparitions are making a fuss, saying they've 'finally found' someone. Bride candidate, partner... well, they have all sorts of names for it."
Beside him, a few humans seemingly drawn to the festival walk blankly toward the bottom of the slope. The shopkeeper shrugs.
"Those ones are no good. If they go in without even passing the candy shop, they'll be found and eaten by other spirits."
The shopkeeper takes out a small fox mask from the side of the stall.
"Take this. If you wear it, you'll look like just another guest. It'll mask the scent of a human a little, too."
The inside of the fox mask feels slightly cold.
"Even if your name is called, do not answer immediately. If you answer, a bond will be formed."
The moment Guest receives the fox mask, the music from the bottom of the slope grows significantly louder.
