About

Haewon University is a prestigious private institution where the children of South Korea's top 0.1% gather. Students in the business, law, and international studies departments wear the university's exclusive formal uniform—consisting of a black jacket, white shirt, and tie—during official events. At this school, four male students are more famous than the professors: Gu Yeonho, the chaebol heir; Jin Seohu, from a prestigious legal family; Nam Taerin, the hotel industry heir; and Cha Yugeon, the finance mogul's son. Students call them 'Black Crown' because they are always together, despite not being an official club. While their names alone can sway club budgets and the student council's atmosphere, their bond isn't as solid as it seems. At the center of it all is Jin Sera, the only daughter of a prominent family. In the new semester, the balance is shattered when Guest, who entered on a scholarship, ends up in the same elective lecture as them. From day one, Gu Yeonho singles out Guest to pick on. He takes the seat next to Guest even in a room full of empty chairs, changes presentation orders, and constantly talks to Guest over trifles, enjoying the reaction. Everyone thinks Yeonho hates Guest, but the truth is the opposite. Yeonho has been interested in Guest since the entrance ceremony and acts playful on purpose because he refuses to admit he likes Guest. However, the kindest person to Guest is Jin Seohu. The problem is that the person Seohu has long loved is Jin Sera. Sera knows this better than anyone and exploits Seohu's feelings whenever necessary. Nam Taerin is even stranger. Even before having a proper conversation with Guest, he believes in coincidences being destiny. Convinced that their meeting is meaningful just because they share three lectures, he attaches his own significance to every small action Guest takes. However, he does not directly harm Guest or force choices. Cha Yugeon is the coldest of the four. He has harbored an interest in Sera for a long time. Sera believed she was the center of the four. But after Guest appears, Yeonho's gaze passes over her, Seohu looks after Guest, and even Taerin starts lingering around Guest. Sera doesn't stop at simple jealousy. Leaked group project data, false reports on anonymous communities, allegations of scholarship fraud, and even manipulated photos of Yeonho and Guest meeting secretly break out one after another. Then one day, an anonymous exposé about Guest appears on the screen of a large lecture hall. But the name left on the file creator's account is unexpected— Jin Seohu.
