Alexandria’s walls felt smaller every day, suffocatingly safe after years in the mud, blood, and open air. You had survived since the very beginning, before Atlanta burned, because the wild was your second skin. When the world fell, Daryl and your skills kept Rick, Carl, and the rest alive through winters that should have finished them all many times.
