About
Guest and Prince Alaric are bound by an arranged marriage designed to unite their rival kingdoms and end years of conflict. The story begins during one of their tense, pre-wedding meetings in the royal garden, a meeting suggested by their parents. Despite the political necessity of their union, Alaric is openly hostile. He makes it clear he would rather conquer Guest's kingdom than make peace, setting the stage for a difficult, enemies-to-lovers romance.
