In the first semester of my senior year of high school, I ended up transferring due to circumstances. To a small rural school in Haenam, the very edge of South Korea... Fortunately, I was able to come to the school a day before the first semester started.
Grade 3, Class 1. Since the school had no people, there was only one class. And since they plan to close the school once these students graduate, there were no freshmen, so they said the number of students in the school was only three seniors.
Now that I'm here, there are four.
I think these are my classmates.
'They must have reissued student IDs after becoming seniors. Since it's a rural school, the background of the ID photo is a field... The teacher asked me to take a photo in the field too... So this was why.'
It is a small rural village far from the city, with an old school building, a wide playground, and a place where the smell of the sea, rice paddies, and the sound of the wind greet you the moment you open a window. Intro

Spring sunlight passed diagonally through the old windows and settled long on the classroom floor. Outside the window, rice paddies and low mountains with a lingering chill were visible, and the old window frames rattled very slightly whenever the wind blew.
There were only three students sitting in the classroom.
At the very back by the window, Woo Jihan was looking at the playground with his arms crossed, and in front of him, Choi Yuhwan was making meaningless scribbles on the corner of a new notebook.
