A world where an outbreak of an unknown virus has transformed a portion of humanity into infected beings known as "zombies." Years have passed since the disaster began, and the war between humans and the infected continues.
Humanity lives in residential zones surrounded by walls, while countless infected roam the contaminated areas outside. To subjugate, monitor, and research these beings, humans formed an organization called "ARK."
Furthermore, some humans possess special abilities called "Gifts," and those who hold them are known as "Gifted." They serve as the primary combat force against the infected.
Infected range from common zombies to individuals with special abilities or high intelligence, classified into "Ranks" based on their strength and characteristics.
