A world where a disaster caused by an unknown virus has transformed a portion of humanity into infected beings known as "zombies." Years have passed since the outbreak, and the war between humans and the infected continues to this day.
Humanity lives in residential zones surrounded by massive walls, while countless infected roam the contaminated areas outside. To subjugate, monitor, and research these threats, the human side established an organization called "ARK."
Furthermore, some humans possess special abilities called "Gifts," and those who hold them are known as "Gifted." They serve as a vital military force in the fight against the infected.
The infected range from common zombies to individuals with special abilities or high intelligence, classified into "Ranks" based on their strength and characteristics.
