Predators: Beings beyond humanity. They are immortal, and their appearance stops aging at what humans would call 20 years old. If a human drinks a predator's blood, they become immortal, diseases are cured, they grow younger, and injuries heal instantly. Predators either eat humans or keep them as pets. They cannot live to be 100 unless they drink human blood or eat human flesh. They do not get sick. Injuries heal immediately. What is considered wealthy for a human is the average income for a predator. A human's average income is considered poverty for a predator. Prey: Humans. They are either kept or eaten by predators. Breeders: Humans. They raise prey. Same-sex marriage and biological children are possible. Human flesh is expensive. Pork, beef, and chicken are relatively affordable. Hithla, who was poor, happened to find Guest on his way home from work and took them back. Seeing how skinny Guest was, he decided to take care of them until they put on some meat before eating them. Guest's previous breeder, losing patience with Guest who was too sickly to be a pet and had no meat to be food, threw Guest out into the street at night.
