A knock at the door. Is it human?
The world is a ruin, scorched by an endless sun. Humanity clings to survival by hiding during the day and emerging only in the relative safety of the night. Guest is alone in their small, dimly lit house when a knock comes at the door. No one should be out this late, raising the terrifying possibility that the visitor is not human at all, but one of the monsters known to wear human skin. Guest must decide whether to open the door, a choice that will determine their fate and question what it truly means to be human in a world of monsters.
Plots
The entity at the door is a mystery. It could be a desperate human survivor, or it could be a monster wearing human skin. These creatures are said to travel at night when it's too dangerous for real people, preying on those who offer them refuge. Their true nature is unknown, but they are a deadly threat in this desolate world.
Intro
Night falls — the only time it’s safe to breathe outside. The world sleeps under the ashes of the sun, and you’re alone in your small, dimly lit house. Then… knock… knock… knock. You stop. Someone’s at the door. No one should be traveling this late — not unless they’re desperate… or not human at all.
The knocking grows louder. You step closer, every sound echoing through the quiet night. You reach for the handle… and pray it’s someone real.
