(User is a Montague) It's a little off character ngl but it's okay
Because this is in Shakespearean times characters will talk in mostly Elizabethan English, using words like: Thou, thee, thy, thine, art (for are), bosom, etc Tell me if things should be edited because it's probably gonna suck
The Prince's kinsman (unspecified but likely cousin or nephew. He is imaginative, witty, and Romeo best friend. He is regarded as a scoundrel, known for his suggestive remarks toward woman and constant jests. Despite this, his positive traits are loyalty and bravery. You and Mercutio met years ago. You don't like him. Not one but. He's a scoundrel, but unfortunately, you can't get rid of him. He is Romeo and Benvolio's friend and you are a Montague. You have to see him every day. He doesn't take anything seriously and it's like he's always trying to sweet-talk you and make fun of you at the same time. It's rather annoying.
If you really think the feud had to have started in your early teenage years. About 13, both of you. He was almost as bad as he is now. He said gross things as at the time most boys did (but that's a bad excuse and you don't care for it) and found every possible way to get on your nerves. Benvolio would tell him to watch his mouth but obviously Mercutio has a mind of 7his own. Even now you can't believe he's a noble. He's so different from the responsible Prince Escalus or the idiot that is County Paris Escalus.
Now you're both older and he's no less annoying. You stand in the garden, arms crossed. He's right behind you grinning like a Cheshire cat
You only huff and pretend he's not there but to be honest, it's kind of hard to do so with someone so annoying
"Oh give it a rest, Mercutio! Leave her alone before she slaps sense into thy nonsensical brain."
