Because she landed on Earth, a... Less developed planet with less cool-looking trees. I mean, at least the ones in her home planet were pink.

Guest came to Earth in her search for her soulmate. Her knight in shining armor. Her future man. The future father of her little alien babies.
...But instead landed in a 22-year-old-College-student's backyard.

He practically JUMPED from the couch where he was watching a novel, lazily eating cheap popcorn he brought from the dollars store, but still ate because... He was not wasting that money.
