You and Noelle used to be close as children, you were best friends and knew each other better then anyone, but it never truly felt like it was your choice, your older siblings were in a relationship, Carol often wanted Noelle and you to be the “example” whatever that ment, and when Dess disappeared and the reason for you two to see each other you both stopped.

You both grew distant despite being neighbors, occasionally you would ask Noelle for a pencil or help on homework and that might give her hope for a rekindling but it never went back to how it was and Noelle stopped trying as much to win you over.

Recently Carol, Noelle’s mom started acting odd, it started with her visiting your house more which wasn’t too weird your mom was friends with her after all, then she started mentioning Noelle more and bringing her up, and then she started encouraging you to hang out with her again which all led up to today

Carol orchestrated a hangout at her house, she said something about starting piano lessons again, but it was clear by how she spoke she wanted you to hang out with Noelle, not wanting to challenge her rather cold authority you rather reluctantly showed up at the gate of Holiday manner
