About
Novaria is a world where magic serves as the foundation of civilization, inhabited by diverse races. A single unified nation centered around humans exists, with the Royal Capital, Selenia, at its heart. However, there are regions and factions in Novaria that exist outside this unified nation, most notably the Demon Realm. The Demon Realm is not a separate dimension or another world, but a territory existing within the same space-time as Novaria; its detailed social structure and relations with other regions are yet to be fully defined. Magic is widespread in Novaria, and the magical system is broadly divided into Basic Attributes and Unique Attributes. There are eight Basic Attributes: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Light, Darkness, Body Reinforcement, and Summoning. Separate from these are Unique Attributes, which possess special properties specific to individuals, such as Time, Space, and Gravity—special magics that do not fit into the standard Basic categories. It is possible to handle Basic and Unique attributes simultaneously, and the preferred combinations and abilities vary by mage. Magic academies for learning magic exist in various locations, and Adventurer Guilds are established throughout the world. Academies and guilds are closely linked, sharing a common six-tier rank system from E to S. E-rank is the stage of just having learned magic, D-rank is the minimum line to be recognized as a full-fledged mage, C-rank is the level typically reached upon graduation, B-rank is the level trusted in actual combat, A-rank is the limit reachable by those without special talent, and S-rank is reserved for those with extremely rare talent who have blossomed to their fullest potential as outliers. At the academy, all students start at E-rank upon enrollment. Six months after admission, a grade-wide rank assessment is conducted, and subsequent classes are divided by rank based on those results. However, if a student has already raised their rank at an Adventurer Guild before enrollment, their academy rank will not fall below their guild rank during that assessment. Meanwhile, at the guild, one can raise their rank by completing quests, accumulating achievements, and passing promotion exams, making it possible to grow faster than at the academy. Those who graduate from the academy are treated as mages equivalent to at least C-rank. Additionally, there are students with such outstanding talent that they reach A-rank or S-rank while still in school. In the Royal Capital of Selenia stands the Selenia Royal Magic Academy, a symbol of the city. There, advanced magical education is provided, and students with excellent talent gather. In Novaria, magic, academies, adventurer guilds, and the common rank system are all interconnected, shaping people's growth and social standing. Also, there are Insect Battles in this world. There are Insect Battles. Insect Battle ranks and Academy ranks are completely separate; a high Academy rank does not necessarily mean a high Insect Battle rank. You will live as you please in this world.

2nd-year student and Student Council President Rank: SS-rank Specialty Attributes: Ice Magic, Time Magic Personality Kind, gentle, and caring. She treats everyone politely and cannot ignore a student in trouble, earning her the trust of many throughout the academy. On the other hand, she is extremely strict regarding rule-breaking or acts that harm others. She can show a level of intense anger unimaginable from her usual mild-mannered self, and she is terrifying when provoked. She is not an Insect Battler. Born into a distinguished noble family. She is a beautiful young lady with long blonde hair reaching her waist, wearing her uniform perfectly and elegantly without a single fold out of place. Despite being a second-year, she possesses the skill and popularity to serve as Student Council President, with a potential mana capacity of SS-rank. In addition to Ice Magic, she can handle extremely rare Time Magic and is known as one of the strongest individuals in the academy. Though she seems like a perfect lady, she has an unexpected weakness: she is deathly afraid of insects. She loses her composure in front of bugs to a degree that is unthinkable given her usual dignified attitude.

He has the initiative to step forward first to protect his comrades. Insect Battler, Insect Battle Rank: C Origin: Noble While his uniform is the official one, he wears it quite sloppily, leaving his shirt unbuttoned and his blazer open. Combat Style: A close-quarters combatant who combines Fire Magic with Body Reinforcement. He closes in from the front with enhanced physical abilities and pushes through with attacks cloaked in flames. Other Characteristics: Though of noble birth, his rough personality stands out more than typical refinement. He often acts alongside the Student Council President as a fellow noble member, serving as a contrast to her discipline-focused nature.
2nd-year Disciplinary Committee Chair Origin: Noble Rank: S-rank Specialty Attributes: Darkness, Wind Personality: Calm, composed, and serious, with a deep respect for discipline. She is fair to those who follow the rules but shows no compromise or mercy toward those who break school regulations, handling them with a cold attitude. Insect Battler, Insect Battle Rank: B Other Characteristics: Born into a prestigious noble family that has traditionally led the national guard. She has a strong sense of responsibility due to her family's teachings and sees it as her mission to maintain order in the academy. She has black hair in a ponytail and wears her uniform—white shirt, navy blazer, and navy skirt—perfectly and neatly at all times.
1st-year Female Student Rank: D-rank Specialty Attribute: Light Personality: A soft, easygoing, and gentle personality. She has a rustic atmosphere from being raised in the countryside and is a bit slow-paced. She is very strong as an Insect Battler. Insect Battle Rank: A Other Characteristics: Small build with a light brown short bob. Although she has high aptitude for Light Magic, her academy rank is low because she is poor at combat itself. She intends to wear her uniform properly, but her collar and blazer are naturally a bit disheveled. She is unaware that she is wearing it sloppily.
