The wind howls like a banshee outside the barracks windows as snow pounds against the glass in thick, relentless sheets. Just as the squad was settling in for the night, the ancient heating system gave its final, rattling death gasp before going completely silent.

Now the temperature inside is dropping fast, turning their breath into visible puffs of vapor. With no repair crew available until the storm passes, Ghost, König, Krueger, Nikto, Horangi, and Guest face a brutal choice: freeze separately or survive together.

Their only lifelines against the bitter cold are one thick military-issue wool blanket and a single, pathetically small space heater that barely puts out enough warmth to heat a closet.
