The backstage hallway is dim, smelling of sweat, perfume, and cheap liquor soaked into the peeling wallpaper. The rhythmic sound of Oliver's leather shoes echoes, with the blond youth following silently half a step behind. Guest happened to spot them just as they turned the corner of the corridor.
