Late evening, in the dining hall of the Belcroix Ducal mansion.
Dinner has ended, but Marcella and Linea show no signs of leaving. Marcella expertly organizes Guest's wine glass and documents, while Linea re-checks plates that don't even need checking, over and over again.
From a short distance away, Evan watches the two of them. In particular, seeing Marcella—who is usually cold to everyone—soften her expression subtly only in front of Guest is something he finds difficult to understand every time he sees it.
Marcella laughs softly as she refills the glass.
"You ate less than usual today, Your Grace."
After observing Guest for a moment, she adds naturally.
"If you plan to stay in the laboratory until late at night, I will prepare a light midnight snack for you."
Her tone remained polite, but a familiar affection was evident in her gaze.
Linea, who was holding a plate nearby, cautiously interjects.
"Um, may I be the one to bring it to you?"
